The Dial Up this Bank Holiday Weekend
Hi All! We've got a packed Bank Holiday coming up! On Saturday 5th I'll be on the Vibe 107.6, Watford's local community radio station, promoting the Dial Up, so please do tune into Josh Chelm's Saturday Breakfast Show at 9am to hear all the goss! I'll be joined by Dial Up member John Gompers, who'll be talking about his past and future performances with the Rickmansworth Chartists.
Then on Sunday 6th we have our Watford Dial Up! Join us at 5pm in the Watford Palace Theatre's Green Room Bar for our usual evening of music, poetry, and open mic merriment! This month's theme is Movies and Musicals, with special guests Tina Ogorman, Kevin O'Brien and Karen Kennedy.
Then on Sunday 7th come and join us at the Watford Colosseum for the Watford Celebration, a whole host of local dance, music and cultural events celebrating Watford's Harmony in Diversity! The Dial Up are playing on the main stage at 4pm, but we'll also have a stall all day (11am to 5pm) so do come and say hi!
I'll also be reading my book Wendy the Whale in the Children's Section at 2pm. I hope to see you there, or at some point over the weekend! Till then, much love! Alex xx
