The Dial Up @ Tina's Cafe!

Where: Tina’s Cafe, Pump House Theatre and Arts Centre, Local Board Road, Lower High Street, Watford WD17 2JP

When: First Sunday of each month, 2-4pm

Join the Dial Up for a fantastic afternoon of performance and open mic! If you’re looking for a friendly and welcoming space to share your music, poetry, prose, drama, comedy, magic or dance, or just want a couple of hours of entertainment, then The Dial Up is the place for you! Every month has a theme but feel free to interpret or ignore it as you choose! All Welcome. Free entry (suggested donation of £5).

Sunday 2nd August: Picnic in the Park! (A change from our usual location, and an earlier time, 12 noon till 2pm! Join us for a summer social at the Peace Garden in Cassiobury Park)

Come and enjoy Tiger Jazz's annual appearance at the gorgeous Bossanyi Studio. Expect two hours of swinging standards supported by the wonderful Dial Up Band! Suggested donation £10. Bring your own drinks, glasses provided.

The Bossanyi Studio is in the back garden of a residential property. Walk through the garden gate and down the lit path to join us!

As a Herts Pride Ambassador, I'm once more honoured to not only sing some of my favourite American Songbook standards on the main stage 2pm till 2.20pm, but also to host a plethora of local talent on the CEX Community Stage from 3pm - 4.30pm... think of it as a Herts Pride Dial Up! Please do come along and enjoy this brilliant annual celebration of Watford's diverse, supportive and inclusive community. It’s a wonderful day out and everyone is welcome!

Join Tiger Jazz as he hosts the inaugural new open mic series at WPT! This new monthly event will have a rotation of local hosts, so it's a real honour to be picked as the first. Hope to see you there for an evening of stellar entertainment and a good old fashioned sing song!

Love in Slough is the story of Jack, a middle-aged man tied to an unfulfilling marriage, whose drab, directionless life is given an injection of vigour when he embarks on an unexpected affair. The funny, fast-paced script is bursting with wonderful jazz tunes which drive us through Jack’s journey of self-discovery as he traverses a new world of openness, intimacy and redefined relationships.

The Watford Pump House is proud to host a Dial Up Open Mic in celebration of Black History Month! We want to throw the doors of the Pump House wide open so this is a FREE EVENT with a suggested donation of £5 at the door for those who feel able to pay.

As ever, we will celebrate community and creativity in all their forms, so whether you are Black, White, Asian, Minority Ethnic, Mixed or however you identify, we welcome you to join us for this joyful occasion! Share you music, your poetry, your passion, your stories. The stage is yours!

Join us for a free day long celebration of the winter season with rides, stalls, good cheer and a host of musical performances through the day! I'll be there as Tiger Jazz both hosting the main stage and sharing some of my favourite classic Christmas songs. It’s a wonderful day out culminating in the big switch on of the Christmas lights! Everyone is welcome so I look forward to seeing you there!

Watford’s Pump House Theatre is proud to host The Dial Up Open Mic LGBT History Month Special! We’re throwing the doors of the Colne River Room wide open for this FREE EVENT in celebration of our town’s wonderful diversity! There is a suggested donation of £5 at the door for those who feel able to pay.

Whether you are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, curious, undecided, an ally or something else entirely we welcome you to come along and join us for this much loved highlight of the Watford LGBT calendar. Share you music, your poetry, your passion, your stories. The stage is yours!


Tiger Jazz is a joy-filled journey through some of the best loved tunes of The Great American Songbook and beyond. Come and enjoy a fun-filled, toe-tapping, heart-warming selection of melodies from Hollywood, Broadway and Tin Pan Alley delivered with a roar!

The Dial Up Open Mic is a celebration of community and creativity where everyone who wants to perform is guaranteed a performance spot. Singing, dancing, music, poetry, comedy, drama... Everyone is welcome. And we love audience members, too, so don't be shy!
