'Wendy the Whale' is an inspiring children's story (recommended age 4- 11 years) about a beached whale which is rescued by the local townspeople in Hermanus, South Africa. Beautifully illustrated by Lucy Newton, this is a wonderful story of a community joining together to save this magnificent creature. Inspired by a piece of oral history from David Abraham, a proportion of the proceeds from sales of this book go to support The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and local charities both in the UK and in Hermanus.
